Select "@connected" folder
Select "Pocket Express"
Once you select "Pocket Express", the application will download on to your MetroPCS phone.
To start using it, go back to @metro to go to MobileShop and select the Pocket Express application icon

What are the requirements for Pocket Express?

You will need to have a MetroPCS phone that supports this feature. Verify your MetroPCS phone for PocketExpress.
You must be on a Rate Plan which includes Pocket Express.

How do I access Pocket Express from my phone?

Select @metro from the handset homepage; use the arrow keys to select the Pocket Express icon.
If the Pocket Express icon doesn't appear, you will need to download the feature to your MetroPCS phone. See instructions on how to download.

How does Pocket Express work?

To use the feature, go to @metro to go into Mobile Shop and select the Pocket Express icon. Once the application is on your handset, pull up the Pocket Express application from your phone’s content menu. The main Pocket Express menu includes nine options: News, Sports, Weather, Stocks, Showbiz, Info, Extras, Maps, and Call Now.

Why does the Pocket Express application ask for my age, gender & zip code the first time I use it?

First time users will be prompted to register non identifiable information. This information is gathered so MetroPCS can better service our customers and for future improvements to Pocket Express. You may opt out of the registration process by selecting the Skip option located at the bottom left corner of the registration page.
Your zip code is asked for to ensure custom information is tailored to you: for example, Pocket Express will be personalized with weather in your area.

What are the Troubleshooting guidelines for Pocket Express?

Verify that you are using a MetroPCS phone that supports Pocket Express.
Verify that you have downloaded the Pocket Express application to your MetroPCS phone. You should see the MapQuest icon when you select @metro
Make sure you are on $50 rate plan. To find out if you are, ask Customer Service by dialing *99 from your MetroPCS phone or 1-888-8-Metro-8 from any phone.

Does Pocket Express work while traveling?

Pocket Express will work as normal in any MetroPCS market, but will not work while using the extended coverage with TravelTalk.

Why am I required to press "OK" regarding using funds from my MetroConnectsm account if Pocket Express does not use these funds?

This is a generic message to let all users who select the @metro Catalog to know that items within the catalog may require MetroConnect Funds. However, some features do not require funds. Pocket Express does not require the use of MetroConnect funds to download the application.
