Mobile Instant Messaging (Mobile IM) enables members of AOL and Windows Live Messaging services to see and text their buddies using their MetroPCS phone.

  • See who’s online
  • Get alerts for new messages
  • Send unlimited instant messages
  • Add a buddy
  • Set alerts and know when friends are online

Select a Rate Plan which includes Unlimited Instant Messaging.

All you need is:

  1. A Mobile IM compatible phone.
  2. An existing AIM® or Windows Live Messenger Account.
  3. A Rate Plan which includes Unlimited Instant Messaging (Mobile Instant Messaging).
  4. The Mobile Instant Messaging featured downloaded to your MetroPCS phone (if it’s not already loaded).

Instant Messenger requires a monthly service fee, plus applicable taxes, an active AIM account and an Instant Messenger capable phone.
MetroPCS cannot guarantee that all messages will be delivered through the IM service.
