USA Basketball National Team Member and Basketball Star Deron Williams Suits up as Official Spokesperson for MetroPCS

Partnership will build awareness for the carrier’s expanding Samsung phone lineup and nationwide service

DALLAS (February 14, 2012) – Today, MetroPCS Communications, Inc., the leader in flat-rate, no annual contract and unlimited wireless services, announced a partnership basketball star Deron Williams. As the only 4G^LTE no-contract wireless service provider, this partnership provides a unique opportunity for MetroPCS to build awareness for its Samsung Android 4G^LTE smartphone lineup and the unprecedented value it brings customers with nationwide 4G^LTEservice at about half the cost of other providers.

Additionally, Williams will interact with consumers through public appearances on behalf of the brand, and participate in various social media initiatives.
