Ron Unger
Vice President, Corporate Engineering
Ron Unger joined MetroPCS Communications in 2001 as Senior Engineer reporting to the CTO at the Corporate Office. He has held several engineering positions within the company, most recently promoted to Vice President of Corporate Engineering in June 2007. Prior to joining us, Mr. Unger served as a senior design engineer for Alcatel Network Systems, performing FPGA and circuit board design in the TND-Development Division. He has also held design and development engineering positions with Lockheed Martin and Del Norte Technology. Prior to entering the engineering profession, Mr. Unger served in the United States Marine Corps as a Naval Aviator from 1984 to 1991. He holds an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Clemson.
