Became VP Network Operations October 2007, prior Staff VP Network Operations & joined MetroPCS in April 2005 as DFW Regional VP of Network Operations & responsible for NDC & NOC. Prior to MPCS was AT&T Wireless 2000 - 2005 as Regional Director Engineering, PrimeCo PCS 1995 - 2000 as VPGM (1999-2000) and Regional Director Engineering & Operations and GTE Mobilnet 1987 - 1995 various engineering/operations management positions. His 17 years of experience includes positions at GTE Mobilnet, PrimeCo PCS, and AT&T Wireless, focusing on designing, developing, implementing, and operating wireless networks. Mr. Walker’s background covers GSM, GPRS, CDMA, IXRTT and EVDO technologies, as well as senior management and operational responsibilities. He holds an Engineering Degree from Texas A&M University and is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
